Al-Rafidain Bank begins processing Basmaya contractors' transactions in preparation for housing loans

A well-informed source said today, Saturday, that Al-Rafidain Bank has begun processing the transactions of those contracted for housing units in Basmaya City, following a recent agreement between the Investment Authority and the bank to resolve the file of loans allocated to the project's beneficiaries.

"Branches of Al-Rafidain Bank have begun receiving and processing the transactions of eligible contract holders, in preparation for completing the procedures to grant the loans allocated to purchase the housing units in Basmaya City," the source said.

He added that efforts are being made to finalize the procedures related to lending and the promissory notes pertaining to those registered on the Basmaya City project, which will help accelerate the completion of their transactions and enable beneficiaries to complete the legal and banking procedures related to their housing units.

The source continued that this step comes within the framework of cooperation and coordination between the Investment Authority and Al-Rafidain Bank to address the loan file for contractors of Basmaya apartments and to complete their transactions according to the approved procedures.
