Gulf Football Federation Approves Baghdad to Host Gulf Cup 28 in December 2028

The Gulf Football Federation announced on Wednesday evening its approval for the capital Baghdad to host the competitions of Gulf Cup 28, following agreement with the Iraqi Football Association and the consent of all concerned parties.

The Iraqi Football Association is scheduled to later announce the stadiums that will host the tournament matches.

In the coming period, inspection committees affiliated with the Gulf Federation will arrive in Baghdad to review the readiness of the stadiums, sports facilities, hotels and the logistical services related to hosting the event.

The Gulf Football Federation agreed to hold the next edition of the tournament in the capital Baghdad from 9 to 22 December 2028.
