Dollar Falls at Sunday Close in Baghdad and Erbil
The dollar fell on Sunday evening in Baghdad to 167,750 dinars per $100 after trading at 168,550 in the morning, and also declined in Erbil.
The US dollar exchange rate fell at the close of trading on Sunday in the capital Baghdad and in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.
A correspondent reported that the Al-Kifah and Al-Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad closed at 167,750 dinars per $100, after having registered 168,550 dinars per $100 in the morning.
He noted that currency exchange shops in Baghdad's local markets also lowered their sell and buy rates: the sell rate reached 168,250 dinars per $100, while the buy rate was recorded at 167,250 dinars per $100.
In Erbil, the dollar also fell, with exchange shops recording a sell rate of 167,650 dinars per $100 and a buy rate of 167,550 dinars per $100.
