Below 156,000 for purchase: Dollar prices fall in Baghdad and Erbil

The US dollar exchange rate fell on Saturday in the markets of the capital, Baghdad, and in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, with the close of evening trading at the start of the current week.

A source familiar with the matter said that dollar rates on the Kifah and Harithiya exchanges in Baghdad dropped to 156,300 Iraqi dinars per $100, after registering 156,800 dinars this morning.

The source indicated that selling prices at money-exchange shops in Baghdad's local markets fell, with the selling price reaching 156,750 dinars per $100, while the buying price was 155,750 dinars.

In Erbil, dollar prices saw a similar decline: the selling price reached 156,400 dinars per $100, and the buying price was 156,350 dinars.
