Finance Ministry rotates Mohammed Samir Abbas to general manager of Al‑Rasheed Bank

The Ministry of Finance on Monday issued a ministerial order rotating Mohammed Samir Abbas, the general manager of Al‑Nahrain Islamic Bank, and appointing him to the position of general manager of Al‑Rasheed Bank.

The document issued by the ministry stated that the decision was based on what is contained in Diwani Order No. 36597 and on a letter issued by the Office of the Prime Minister, and affirmed that implementation of the order begins as of its date of issuance.

The ministry said this step comes within the context of organizing administrative and leadership positions within the banking institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Finance.

According to informed sources, additional imminent changes include the transfer and rotation of a number of general managers, particularly those who have held their posts for four years or more.
