Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warns Washington: Iran at highest readiness, response 'unexpected' and without geographic limits

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned that any attack or "miscalculation" by the United States will be met with a response he described as "unexpected" and without geographic limits, noting that his country has reached the highest levels of defensive and military readiness, according to Iranian media.

Ghalibaf said that "the two imposed wars have proven to the United States and its followers in the region that the era of transgressions is over," referring to what he described as a shift in regional power balances.

He added that the Leader of the Revolution and of the Islamic Republic has set the military strategy to confront any potential attack, and that "the Iranian response to any miscalculation by the enemy will be unexpected and without geographic limits, and will crush its calculations and assets."

Ghalibaf affirmed that Tehran is "on a war footing" and has delivered what he described as a strong and rational response to Washington's positions, explaining that the ball is now in the American administration's court to prevent the outbreak of war.

The parliament speaker warned that any "new American strategic mistake" could open a new theater of war, and Washington would find itself in greater difficulty finding an exit strategy, he said.
