Harry Kane scores a double and extends Champions League scoring run to nine
Harry Kane scored twice in Bayern Munich's 3-3 draw with Norwegian side Viking in the Champions League, extending his scoring streak to nine consecutive matches.

English striker Harry Kane led Bayern Munich to an entertaining 3-3 draw with Norwegian club Viking in the second round of the Champions League, after scoring a double that formed part of a scoring run extended to nine consecutive matches in the competition.
Statistical data showed that Kane's double against Viking brought him closer to equalling a record held by Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored in 11 consecutive Champions League matches until April 2018 while at Real Madrid.
Nevertheless, Kane faces a tough test in the next round when Bayern host Arsenal at the Allianz Arena on 21 October; unless he scores then, the scoring run could end at nine matches.
Kane, 33, can also say that he has scored against all of Bayern's Champions League opponents without interruption since facing Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise on 21 January 2026.
Harry Kane has scored 12 goals in nine matches in the competition against the teams Union Saint-Gilloise (Belgium), Eindhoven (Netherlands), Atalanta (Italy), Real Madrid (home and away), Paris Saint-Germain (home and away), as well as Bodø/Glimt and Norwegian side Viking.
