Integrity Commission seizes property files and deeds at former accounts head's home in Salah al-Din
The Federal Integrity Commission said it seized three property files and four deeds during investigations into the case of the former head of the accounts department in Salah al-Din, after he was detained under Article 340 over issuing a 425 million‑dinar check.

The Federal Integrity Commission announced on Sunday that investigations and inquiries are continuing in the case of the accused former head of the accounts department in Salah al‑Din governorate, who is detained pending investigation.
The commission said that, based on a decision by the judge of the Central Court of Investigation for Corruption Crimes, a working team from the staff of the commission's Investigations Office in Salah al‑Din governorate was formed and moved to the residence of the detained suspect in the Al‑Alam district.
The commission reported that auditing, inquiry and follow‑up operations resulted in seizing three original property files relating to three houses in residential complexes, two of them in the name of the suspect's wife and the third in the name of the suspect himself, as well as seizing four property deeds in the names of the suspect's wife, her brother, and one of his sons.
It is noted that the commission announced in late July that it had seized 2.5 billion dinars in the suspect's home, and at that time revealed six investment properties registered in his wife's name, noting that the suspect was detained under the provisions of Article 340 of the Penal Code in connection with issuing and cashing a check for 425 million dinars based on fictitious documents.
The commission indicated that it is continuing investigative procedures and inquiries to pursue the remaining circumstances related to the case.
