Rostec revealed, during the "Bioprom" exhibition held in the city of Gelendzhik, a robot capable of repairing skin using 3D bioprinting technology.

This complex, developed by the company "RT - Business Development", was previously shown to Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alekhanov at the "Innoprom" exhibition held in the Belarusian capital, Minsk.

The robot heals wounds, as in science-fiction films: it first optically scans the wound, then builds a three-dimensional model of it, and applies a special solution containing living cells layer by layer; the system adapts to the individual characteristics of the wound to suit each patient's condition.

The system is based on the local collaborative robot DOKA RC5. It is capable of improving the lives of many soldiers, firefighters and children, as well as motorcyclists who suffer major skin damage.

Among other new items at the exhibition was the first Russian booster vaccine for adults against pertussis, diphtheria and tetanus, manufactured by Natsimbio; these preparations are currently in demand as well, including among Russian soldiers in the area of the special military operation.

It is noted that the state-owned Rostec manufactures more than 200 types of medical products and about 150 immunobiological preparations, and there are 17 major projects in active implementation.

Rostec intends to invest more than 10 billion rubles in medical projects by 2030, which will allow the launch of serial production for around 40 additional high-tech products.
