Baghdad - Al-Wasat Iraqi newspaper

Lieutenant General Saad Ma'an, head of the Security Media Authority, said on Friday that Iraqi pilots created an exemplary Iraqi sovereign aerial display during the airshow.

Ma'an said in a statement received by Al-Wasat Iraqi newspaper that "the pilots today performed wonderfully at a great occasion for Iraq, and their skills were at the peak of performance."

He added that "the Iraqi sovereign tableau the pilots drew may have upset some, thus these rumors were launched," pointing out that "all the aircraft are intact, and the pilots are safe, and it was an exemplary Iraqi sovereign aerial display."
