Trump says Iranian air defenses destroyed, halts $4bn for Israel
U.S. President Donald Trump said his forces destroyed Iranian air defenses in a limited strike last night and that he will halt a $4 billion aid payment to Israel.

U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that U.S. forces destroyed Iranian air defenses on the night from Monday to Tuesday in an attack he described as a "limited strike."
Trump said last night’s attack on Iran was not a war but a limited operation, arguing that the scope of the operation did not amount to all-out war.
He added that his administration will halt aid payments totaling four billion dollars earmarked for Israel, saying the United States will not pay any more in this regard.
Trump predicted that the midterm election results will be better than many expect, saying he will follow the vote counts tonight from the White House and that the campaign rallies he attended will strongly affect the voting results.
