Trump announces end to roughly $4 billion a year in aid to Israel
President Donald Trump said the United States will stop providing about $4 billion a year in aid to Israel by the end of the year, while affirming continued military cooperation.

President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that the United States has reached an agreement to stop providing about $4 billion a year in aid to Israel by the end of this year.
Trump told reporters the reason for the decision is that Israel "no longer needs US financial aid," expressing his position on financial dependence.
He clarified that ending this financial aid does not mean ending military cooperation between the two countries, noting that Israel will remain able to purchase American weapons.
