A Delta flight from New York was evacuated at Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday, October 13, after an anonymous report of an explosive device; a security search was carried out and passengers were confirmed safe, according to press reports.

A passenger plane that landed at Ben Gurion Airport was evacuated on Tuesday, October 13, after a report was received of an explosive device on board. The aircraft had arrived from New York and was operating a Delta Air Lines flight.
Israeli media reported that an anonymous tip reached airport authorities, prompting security teams to search the aircraft upon its landing in Tel Aviv, while a television correspondent said the inspections covered all compartments of the plane.
According to press reports, initial assessments indicated the potential threat did not reach a level of severity, and reports said all passengers were evacuated safely to the airport's main terminal.
The report comes about two weeks after an incident involving a Flydubai aircraft, in which press reports said the pilot had planned to bring the plane down at Ben Gurion Airport.
