Erdogan in response to Netanyahu: Those with international arrest warrants belong in prison and courts
Erdogan responded to Netanyahu's UN speech, saying war criminals belong in prisons and courts, not on the UN platform.

The Turkish president responded to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's speech at the United Nations and said that "the place of criminals who committed war crimes is not the United Nations podium but prisons and courts to hold them accountable for their crimes."
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said in a speech today, Saturday, at an event in Istanbul — his first direct official comment on Netanyahu's speech at the United Nations: "The place of criminals who committed war crimes is not the UN podium, but the courtrooms that try them for the crimes they committed."
He added: "Unless perpetrators of genocide are held accountable before justice, before the law and before history, the same brutality will be repeated, and we are passing through days in which the international order has reached a dead end in terms of legitimacy, representation and justice."
The Turkish president added: "Our region is living through a storm of crises, so to speak, and the rule of the strongest has become a feature of international relations today more than ever before."
He continued: "We are determined to expose the mentality of the Zionist occupation, which considers itself chosen and superior to all peoples, and to prove that it is devoid of mercy, conscience, ethics and principles."
