Iraqi Federation Holds Talks with Bundesliga Experts to Develop Stars League
The Iraqi Football Federation held a session with experts from the German Bundesliga to discuss developing the Iraqi Stars League in competition organization and staff training; talks are advanced but have not produced a final agreement.

Baghdad — The Iraqi Football Federation opened channels of dialogue with experts from the German League (Bundesliga) to discuss ways of cooperating to develop the Iraqi Stars League; the talks have not yet produced a final agreement.
The federation's media director, Mohammed Khalaf, said the session was held in the presence of federation president Younis Mahmoud, vice president Mohammed Nasser and secretary-general Kovend Abdul Khaleq, and that the experts presented an overview of the services they can provide to develop Iraqi football.
Khalaf said the proposed form of cooperation differs from the previous experience with the Spanish league (LaLiga), as it focuses specifically on developing the Iraqi Stars League by drawing on the Bundesliga's expertise in organizing competitions, enhancing staff skills and improving administrative and organizational aspects.
He noted that the talks included discussions and deliberations that reached advanced stages, but stressed that the parties have not yet reached a final agreement, adding that any agreement reached will be announced to the media with full details.
