Rezaee threatens to target regional digital infrastructure if clashes resume
Mohsen Rezaee, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, on Monday warned he could target cables, data centers and AI facilities in the region if military confrontations escalate again, calling the U.S. response to a proposal to end the war "insufficient."

Mohsen Rezaee, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, warned on Monday that Tehran may target the region's digital infrastructure if military confrontations return and escalate violently.
Rezaee said the U.S. response to the proposal to end the war was "insufficient," adding that Tehran is not currently responding to the United States and that Washington must clarify a number of points related to the proposal before any further contact.
Rezaee disclosed that the United States accepted some of Iran's seven conditions, while its positions on other conditions remain unclear, stressing that the current U.S. response does not meet what Tehran sees as necessary to end the war.
He added that any new military escalation could prompt Iran to expand the scope of its targeting to include the region's digital infrastructure, including cables, data centers, artificial intelligence facilities and other sites.
