Tehran: Only Accepting Our Conditions Will Reopen the Strait of Hormuz and Resume Dialogue
Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that accepting Tehran's conditions would lead to the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, while Tehran says it is ready for both military and diplomatic options and is continuing consultations via Qatari and Pakistani mediators.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Monday that Tehran's conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz are "clear," and that acceptance of these conditions will lead to the strait being reopened and dialogue resuming.
Araghchi added in press remarks that Tehran is more prepared than ever for both a military response and the diplomatic track, noting that consultations through Qatari and Pakistani mediators are extremely intensive.
In a related development, President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei granted the government some authorities to move toward solving problems through dialogue, emphasizing that war would not serve the interests of any party and that the enemies will not be able to force the country to surrender.
Last Saturday, the Supreme Leader directed the armed forces to confront any level of threat without geographic restrictions, affirming that combat readiness is one of the requirements for achieving deterrence.
