Pezeshkian: Khamenei granted government powers for dialogue and rejected surrender
President Masoud Pezeshkian said the supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, granted the government powers to move toward solving problems through dialogue, stressing that war would not serve any party.

President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Monday that the supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, granted the government some powers to move toward resolving problems through dialogue.
Pezeshkian added that war would not serve any party, and that the enemies would not be able to force Iran to surrender through conflict.
The president said the government will stand firmly against what he described as the enemy's lies and excessive demands, affirming efforts to resolve issues through dialogue.
Last Saturday, the supreme leader directed the armed forces to confront any level of threat without geographical restrictions, stressing that combat readiness is a requirement for achieving deterrence.
With the U.S. midterm elections scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is, according to media reports, pressing President Donald Trump to resume the war on Iran after those elections.
