Interior Ministry: Three ballistic missiles target Coast Guard headquarters in Aden

Yemen's Interior Ministry announced that three ballistic missiles targeted, today, Saturday, Coast Guard facilities in the temporary capital, Aden; saying that two missiles struck the Coast Guard headquarters at the ministry's compound, while the third targeted the Coast Guard building in Al-Tawahi district.

The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, Majid Al-Nuzaily, told media outlets that Ansar Allah (the Houthis) shelled Aden with ballistic missiles.

The Interior Ministry said in a statement that the attack is an extension of previous assaults on civilian and vital facilities in Aden, including Aden International Airport, which has been struck in past incidents by ballistic missiles and unmanned drones, and warned that targeting vital facilities and public services threatens the capital's security and stability and endangers the safety of citizens and institutions.

Separately, media affiliated with Ansar Allah reported that airstrikes hit various areas across Yemen, including the Kitaf, Al-Baqa and Sahar districts in Saada governorate, in addition to the Al-Mokha district in Taiz governorate.

According to news reports, the strikes included two raids on Kitaf and Al-Baqa districts, three raids on Al-Mokha district, three strikes targeting eastern Saada, and three additional strikes on Sahar district.

In Saudi Arabia, the Civil Defense announced the activation of early-warning alarms in the Riyadh, Najran and Wadi Al-Dawasir areas as a precaution against a potential threat, before later announcing that the danger to those areas had passed.
