Ingrid Alexandra carries out first solo official engagement as Crown Princess
Norway's Crown Princess received representatives of the 'Operation Dagsverk' campaign in her office at the Royal Palace in Oslo in her first independent engagement as Crown Princess.

Norway's Crown Princess, Ingrid Alexandra, carried out her first solo official engagement as Crown Princess today, Wednesday, according to the German news agency (DPA).
Reports said the meeting took place in her office at the Royal Palace in Oslo and was attended by representatives of the charity campaign 'Operation Dagsverk', also known as 'One Day's Work'.
The princess has previously carried out duties on behalf of the royal family alone, but she had not performed such a role before in her official capacity as Crown Princess.
Ingrid Alexandra assumed the title of Crown Princess following the death of her grandfather King Harald V and the accession of her father, Haakon VIII, to the throne in late August.
The 'Operation Dagsverk' campaign organizes activities carried out by young people for the benefit of young people, and the campaign's events are scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, when school students across Norway will collect donations to fund an educational project aimed at young people in other countries.
The Norwegian Royal Court said that this year's proceeds from the campaign will be allocated to support youth-led efforts aimed at establishing safer and more equitable schools in South Africa.
