Iraq contributes to recovery of Gulf oil exports in September

Data from Fortiksa and Kpler showed a recovery in crude oil and condensate exports from Gulf countries during September, supported by higher Saudi, Emirati and Iraqi shipments.

According to Kpler, total crude oil and condensate exports from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Iraq, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Iran rose to about 14.7 million barrels per day in September, compared with 10.8 million barrels per day in August.

Saudi Arabia led the increase, with its shipments rising to 6.6 million barrels per day from about 4.2 million barrels per day in August, while exports from the UAE and Iraq also rose, partially offsetting declines in Kuwaiti and Qatari exports and the halt in Iranian shipments.

Fortiksa's data showed crude oil and condensate flows rising to 91% of pre-war levels, which were 16.3 million barrels per day, while refined fuel and liquefied petroleum gas exports remained at 60% of pre-war levels.
