Iraq Hajj and Umrah: Lottery results to be announced Sunday

The Supreme Authority for Hajj and Umrah confirmed that the electronic Hajj lottery results will be officially announced today, Sunday, after the completion of lottery procedures, via the authority’s official website and its verified social media pages.

In a statement seen by the Iraqi Al-Wasat newspaper, the authority called on citizens to accept the lottery results exclusively from its official platforms, warning against the circulation of results through other sources.

It warned applicants against public and personal pages and fraudulent links that claim to announce the electronic lottery results, explaining that their aim may be to steal citizens’ data or manipulate their emotions, as well as to exploit the results to gain likes and engagement for their pages.
