Security source announces night curfew in villages south of Daquq district

A security source said on Friday that a curfew has been imposed in all villages located south of Daquq district, from 6:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m., and that it will remain in effect until further notice.

The source attributed the decision to the need to ensure residents' safety and to limit any suspicious movements or the potential appearance of armed individuals, saying that security forces will implement the measure and monitor compliance during the curfew hours.

The source explained that security measures include deploying checkpoints and patrols at the entrances and exits of the villages, in addition to monitoring main and secondary roads, with increased surveillance to prevent any unusual movements.

The authorities have called on residents to cooperate with security forces and to report any cases or movements that arouse suspicion. They also urged people not to leave their homes during the curfew except in emergencies and after coordinating with the competent authorities, in order to preserve their safety and to avoid any disruption that could impede implementation of the security plan.

Authorities confirmed that the curfew will remain in force until further notice, and that any lifting or adjustment of its hours will be announced officially through authorized channels, urging residents to follow official guidance and to avoid being swayed by rumors or unreliable information.
