Pylontech and Sulatech present advanced battery solutions to boost electricity stability in Baghdad
Pylontech and its local partner Sulatech announced in Baghdad integrated battery energy storage solutions for residential, commercial and industrial sectors, including monitoring systems and an initiative to train and certify local installation technicians.

Pylontech, in partnership with its local provider Sulatech, announced the launch of a range of advanced battery energy storage solutions at the "Pylontech Moving Studio Iraq" event held in Baghdad, aiming to enhance the stability of electricity supply to homes, commercial and industrial facilities, optimize the use of solar energy and reduce the impact of grid power outages.
The company said in a statement issued on the sidelines of the event that the energy storage systems on display are designed to meet the needs of residential, commercial and industrial sectors as well as large-scale projects, and enable integration of solar panels, batteries, the electrical grid and generators within a unified operating system.
Pylontech explained that these systems allow the use of electricity generated by solar panels during the day and its storage for use when needed, particularly at night or during grid outages, and contribute to efficient management of backup supply sources to ensure continued operation of critical loads.
In the residential sector, the company introduced two battery solutions, "FiduPlus" and "Fidus Max", with nominal capacities of 16.08 kilowatt-hours and 20.07 kilowatt-hours respectively, giving users multiple options to select the appropriate system according to electrical loads and the required backup duration.
The statement added that integrating these batteries with compatible inverters enables storing electricity generated by solar panels and using it as needed, and that displays are provided to show battery status and monitor their operation.
For commercial and industrial facilities, the company showcased the hybrid storage system "L260-HY", which combines solar generation, storage and backup supply sources within a unified operating strategy, and includes a hybrid inverter with 125 kilowatts capacity and a battery with 261 kilowatt-hours capacity.
Pylontech noted that the hybrid system allows supporting the use of solar energy, managing loads and providing backup supply for essential loads according to site conditions and operational needs, adding that selecting the appropriate system depends on the nature of the loads, available solar resources, grid conditions and available space.
The event also presented tools for battery management, system performance monitoring and fault diagnosis that allow tracking battery condition, receiving alerts and using remote management capabilities where available, helping users and installation and maintenance technicians monitor performance and address issues.
According to the statement, the two companies announced an initiative to train and certify local installation technicians to support the spread of energy storage solutions in the Iraqi market, strengthen safety procedures and smart monitoring technologies, and develop installation, maintenance and after-sales services.
